ABOUT THE NOVEL-

The novel is about the one perfect relationship between Aman and shruti who were inseparable in the four years of college life. They had the most loveliest times that they were so called "made for each other pairs".But it was not so long when shruti realized that they need to breakup hoping that her mother will fight against breast cancer and lead a happy life if shruti obeys them.It was so hard for Aman after shruti said they could never proceed further and that she is going to marry Rishabh, the guy with an IIT tag who is adored by shruti's family and they do not want Aman because of the caste issues. But now it has been 2 years since they broke up and shruti is married to Rishabh and Aman went to UK hoping for a change from the shattered life he never thought of.Though they seem to move along what destiny has lead them, they could never give up on each other.Aman buries himself with work load and shruti making an effort to look like "a happily married life".Then Aman meets Anjali who has been mailing him at regular intervals to stay updated with Aman because she knows he is not one of those guys who flirt all time and there is something deep buried within himself and that she is completely falling for him ever since she met him at dipika and vikram's place last time he came. And now she is madly awaiting his return from UK.Though Aman was not interested in giving a try with his 2nd relationship he found that they were perfect with each other sharing what they feel without a tinge of guilt of hiding something to the better half. Then comes a thunderbolt in shruti's life.Rishabh finds the mails shruti and Aman once shared and he was shocked that she never let a word about him and TRUST,the most important factor you need to have in a relationship is now lost in Rishabh that he finds difficult to speak to shruti even after she consoles him that Aman is a history. It is then she realizes that she is not yet recovered from the bygones with Aman and how she madly misses him.She then writes him a mail that she wanted to continue being his friend despite not having a relationship as he said he wanted to have this kind of relation between them even after they broke up in the early days of their breakup. But shruti now writes him the reply after 2 long years that makes Aman let go of her and he refuses to send her a reply back.It is then shruti makes up a visit and asks Aman if she has a second chance.Aman asks her to give Rishabh a second chance and tells shruti about Anjali and their relationship.Shruti then realizes that Aman is "THE ONE YOU CANNOT HAVE".

It is a modern day romantic novel that is straight from heart that is about the complicated relationships and about moving on when you realize that there will always be the one you cannot have!
Happy reading:)
